The spring snow goose season brought snow goose hunting into the mainstream. Before 1999, very few people targeted snow geese—most hunters pass‑shot or jump‑shot them. How things have changed in the last 20+ years. Today, it’s common to see massive snow goose spreads near major staging areas, often running 1,000–2,000 decoys. Headless decoys make up the majority of these spreads.
What will set you apart from everyone else?
Color. We like being different by adding decoys with contrast. In our spreads, the headless mix starts with 10% juvy snow goose decoys, 25% blue geese, and 65% adult snows.
Why juvy and blue decoys?
Spring often brings snow, and white decoys on white ground disappear fast. We’ve had many successful hunts in snowy conditions, and we believe the added contrast from juvy snows and blues helps birds pick out the spread. That’s why our Juvy Snow Goose Windsocks are a staple in our setups.
The juvy snow goose bodies are impressive—rich greys and browns pulled from our artwork create an attractive, realistic decoy. We print in full color on Tyvek®. Each body measures 12″ W x 19″ L and includes three drain holes to release moisture.
Our Juvy Snow Goose Windsocks come standard with our patented BackBone™ Support. Made from no‑break plastic, it outperforms any other support on the market.
Stake Options: The 36″ fiberglass option helps break up laydown blinds, backboards, or pit openings. All fiberglass stakes include black push‑nut tops.
