Deadly Decoys® Headless Mallard Decoys: Feeding Motion That Fools
Headless Mallard decoys resemble mallards feeding with their heads down, making them a field hunter’s go-to for large spreads. When we run fewer than five dozen, we stick with headed decoys, but in ten dozen setups, five dozen are headless. That realistic balance adds depth to your rig, improves finishing, and helps stretch your budget.
Printed on waterproof Tyvek® with high-definition feather detail, each decoy body measures 13″ wide by 16″ long and includes three drainage holes to shed water in wet conditions.

Whether you’re hunting dry fields or shallow water, movement matters. Windsocks flutter with the breeze, simulating feeding motion that draws ducks in and gets them to commit.
Each decoy is outfitted with our patented No-Break BackBone™ Support—engineered for rugged hunts and proudly made in the USA. Choose from three stake options to suit your setup: ¼″ fiberglass stakes (24″ or 36″) with black push-nut tops, or 3⁄16″ powder-coated stainless steel stakes (24″). Tall stakes help conceal layout blinds and pits, and perform well in shallow water.
Compact by Design
These decoys layer tight. Properly packed, 150 headless windsocks fit into our Windsock Carry Decoy Bag, taking up no more room than a couple full-body goose decoys. That compact footprint makes hauling and storing large spreads simple.
