Flyer Pole Kit Driver

Description

Built for Frozen Ground, Field Tough, and Made in the USA

The Deadly Decoys® Flyer Pole Kit Driver helps hunters drive flyer poles into hard or frozen ground—without flaring the ends or lugging a hammer. Before this tool, the best option was pounding poles with a 3 lb hammer, which flared the top and eventually forced you to cut off the damaged section. This driver solves that problem. Its steel walls prevent flaring and keep your poles field-ready season after season.

Made in the USA, the driver works like a post-hole tool used for T-posts. It’s 16 inches long and built from heavy-duty ½” round x 11-gauge steel tubing. Compact enough to carry in a blind bag or backpack, it’s finished in powder-coated RED so it’s easy to spot in the field. If you prefer a different color, a quick spray paint job will do the trick.

We tested two versions in January 2024—one with a handle and one without. We chose the handle-free design not to cut costs, but because the handled version was hard on your little finger. On a bitter cold day with temps at -12°F, we drove a flyer pole over 18 inches deep. That’s 12-14 inches more than needed, but we don’t cut corners when it comes to testing.

Whether you’re setting up in frozen ground or compacted soil, this driver makes setup fast and frustration-free. And when it’s time to pack out, it fits perfectly inside the zippered pocket of our new Deadly Decoys® Flyer Decoy Bag, launching Fall 2025.
