Deadly® Decoys Body Bags: Many hours have been put into the design of our Body Bags. The intricate, full color feather detail is printed on them using special inks and printing processes that result in a life like durable finish. Nothing currently on the market compares to the vivid detail of our printing. The wide mouth design of the Body Bag catches even the slightest breeze resulting in that all-important movement needed to attract large numbers of ducks and geese. The Body Bag comes standard with a top and bottom grommet that allows the use of up to a 1/4” stake. They are available in Mallards, Canada, Specklebelly, Juvy Snow, Juvy Blue, Snow, and Blue Geese.

Deadly® Decoys Heads: The intricate detail of our heads is nothing short of fantastic. These heads set a new standard of realism. The Sentry heads have a threaded insert that accepts our threaded Deadly® Decoy stakes for fast assembly. You no longer have to glue them on the stake. All of our heads have a paint scheme that mimics Mother Nature and the Canada goose heads are flocked. We recommend 20-30% upright heads in your decoy spreads. Late in 2007 we will be unveiling our feeder and search style heads that have a unique attachment feature that allows movement. Of course these new style heads will have the same quality and realism you have come to expect from us.

When the wind changes, so does the Deadly® Decoys - unlike conventional windsock decoys

Deadly® Decoys are designed to keep bodies off the ground, otherwise you'll have damage to your bodies like regular windsock decoys

BackBone™ Windsock Support: Our support is what really sets us apart from other decoy companies. It took 3 years of extensive development and field testing of numerous prototypes before we were satisfied with this patent pending design. The BackBone™ Support is designed to be a permanent part of the decoy. By that we mean you don’t have to remove it each time you pick up your spread. You can remove it if you choose but it isn’t necessary nor was it our intention when we designed them. We don’t like decoys that have parts that require assembly in the field. When hunting large spreads of decoys why spend as much time assembling your spread as you do setting it? To hunt our decoys you pull them from the decoy bag, poke them into the ground, and hunt. Simple, fast, and effective! The BackBone™ requires more room than a traditional decoy but our Deadly® Decoy bag solves most of these issues allowing for convenient storage and protection from damage.
1. NO WIND NO WORRY: A normal windsock requires up to a 10 mph wind before you see good movement. With the BackBone™, the decoy is already off the ground and a whisper of a breeze results in some lifelike movement. Have you ever heard it stated “Wind is not an issue during the spring season, it blows all the time”. We have heard, read it, and REALLY? This isn’t true where we hunt and we hunt all over the Midwest and parts of Canada in the fall. Wind is especially low early in the morning and later in the day when the sun is low in the sky and waterfowl are the most active. Having a BackBone™ will increase you odds during these times.
2. REDUCES WORK: It eliminates the need to manually turn your decoys into the wind with hope that your decoys will catch a little gust and give your spread some life. Remember the days when you had to do this several times? The BackBone™ acts as a wind vane and the decoys freely change direction with even the slightest breeze. All you have to do is turn the blinds. It also eliminates the problem of the bodies becoming hung up on the stakes.
3. DECOYS LAST LONGER: Wear and tear on the decoy will be minimal since the decoy is off the ground and won’t be rubbing on the stubble or other debris. How many days have you spent duct taping holes in windsock bodies? I bet you answer is like ours…too many! The BackBone™ eliminates much of this especially if you hunt in mainly short stubble or worked fields. Gone are the days of arriving to your field after a rain or snow to find all of the decoys frozen to the ground. Everyone has one buddy that just starts ripping them up freeing the decoys but leaving a hole in the bottom and a white patch of tyvek still attached to the dirt. If the decoy doesn’t touch the ground it won’t freeze to it.
4. STOPS ERRACTIC MOVEMENT: On high wind days the BackBone™ stops the erratic movements of windsocks. Flipping, flopping, and what can best be described as a slithering snake is not a natural movement. When the wind starts to howl you don’t have to adjust our decoys so the tail is against the ground or throw dirt clods in them to eliminate these crazy movements. The BackBone™ only allows the side to side waddling that imitates feeding geese. Messing with your spread is number 2 on our list of things we don’t like to do when hunting…it is right after assembling decoys in the dark.
5. RUGGED DESIGN: Until now windsock supports were flimsy and they did not withstand the rigors of hard waterfowl hunting. So we designed our own. We hunt under all conditions. Rain, snow, ice, and mud are hard on equipment. Flimsy supports fail under these conditions. The Backbone ™ supports reinforced design won’t and will withstand many seasons of hard hunting.
6. RETRO FIT YOU EXISTING SPREAD: The BackBone Supports were designed for our decoys but will work on almost all windsocks. They will fit on up to a ¼ inch diameter stake. Give your entire spread a full body appearance.
Decoy Stakes: We have two types of stakes, a looped for headless decoys and a straight stake for the headed decoys. Both are 3/16 diameter powder coated stainless steel. New for 2007 both have a thread on feature. The headless have a screw on loop stake that is 1.75 inched in diameter. The loop allows you to push the stake into the hard or frozen ground without hurting your hands and eliminates the possibility of the decoy becoming hung up in a bent loop. The straight stake has a threaded top and the head has a threaded insert. Both make for easy assembly, you just screw them on. No more glue or epoxy! All of the stakes are 24” long below the head or loop. Elastomer tubing slides up the stake and holds the Body Bag and BackBone™ Support firmly in place.
Deadly® Decoy Bag: This is the decoy bag that we designed specifically for Deadly® Decoy windsocks. Cornstalk in color and made of a semi rigid plastic weave that allows the bag to be self supporting. It can hold 50-60 Sentry headed decoys and 150-180 headless feeders. The stiff material was chosen so the bag would stand on its own. The two top flaps open completely giving a large area for loading/removing decoys. There are 3 clips that keep the bag closed and they are located near the bottom of the bag so if you only have a partial bag of decoys you can cinch it down so the decoys are held firmly in place during transport. It has a shoulder strap and two carrying handles similar to a traditional duffel bag. Once you try one you will get rid of the tubs and sleds you are currently using. These bags allow you to transport, set, and store your spread with ease. Although they were designed specifically for Deadly® Decoy products they work equally well for traditional windsock spreads.

Headless Feeder Decoys: These decoys come standard with our patent pending BackBone™ windsock support, printed ultra realistic Body Bag, Deadly® Decoys stake, and Elastomer tubing.
Sentry Headed Decoys: Comes standard with the lifelike Deadly® Decoy Heads, patent pending Backbone support™, printed ultra realistic Body Bags, Deadly® Decoy Stakes, and Elastomer tubing.
