Welcome to Deadly Decoys, Inc. We manufacture a full line of high quality ultra-realistic windsock decoys. They are light weight, compact, affordable, and add unrivaled movement to your spread. The decoys started as a collaboration between a successful waterfowl guide, whose passion is snow goose hunting, and a tool & die maker whose specialty is plastics and plastic molds. The guide is Tracy Northup owner of Up North Outdoors, Inc. (Snow Goose Hunts) Tracy operates a guide service in Missouri and South Dakota during the Spring Snow Goose Season. In February 2012 Tracy and his wife Denise became the sole owners of Deadly® Decoys, Inc.

“The decoy company started with our patented BackBone™ Support. It always bothered me that the windsocks hung straight down without wind. Our original version of the support was fairly large. After the first year of testing we felt it needed to be thinner. We thinned it down some and it worked awesome. With our BackBone™ Support completed and its benefits obvious, it was a natural progression to stop re-working other manufacturer’s windsock bodies and developed our line of decoys that incorporated all of the customizations I was making for my guide service. In the early years of the spring snow goose season what was commercially available was not well suited for the rigors of guiding. I would buy decoys and then literally spend weeks customizing them so they would last. Our goal has always been to make a high quality, realistic, and durable decoy.
